Crafted in Nara, Japan, this traditional Matcha Chasen is handmade by master artisan Kubo Sabun, the 24th-generation heir to a family dedicated to the art of bamboo whisk making.

Recognised for preserving one of Japan’s most respected tea-making traditions, the Kubo family’s craftsmanship has received official commendation from the Japanese Government and has been exhibited internationally, including at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Each whisk is carefully shaped from a single piece of bamboo to create the fine tines required for preparing smooth, frothy matcha. A timeless tool for tea practitioners and everyday matcha lovers alike.
