Collection: Clocks

Founded in 1947 in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, TAKATA Lemnos Inc. began as a brass casting manufacturer. The company entered the clock industry through the production of clock frames for Seikosha Co., Ltd. (now Seiko Watch Corporation) and later developed its own original products.

Lemnos launched its original design-focused clock collections in the late 1980s, gaining international recognition with “HOLA,” a clock designed by Kazuo Kawasaki and released in 1989.

Today, Lemnos is known for collaborating with Japanese and international designers to create clocks and lifestyle objects that combine functionality, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. Products are manufactured in Japan using techniques developed through the company’s long history in metal casting and manufacturing.

Based in Toyama Prefecture, a region known for its manufacturing traditions, Lemnos continues to produce design objects that reflect Japanese craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
